– What’s it like to work with Change Formation?

I started work with Change Formation in the summer of 2015. It was my first experience of coaching and a very positive one.  A familiarisation session proved really useful and set the framework for the following six sessions we had together. Rob made me feel very comfortable, enabling me to get the most from the experience.  He was a very good listener, and allowed me to express myself, and asked me a number of effective questions, really getting to the key issues, and making me think in ways I hadn’t done before

– How would you describe the coaching style?

Rob had a very natural style, clearly very knowledgeable in his field, he not only introduced me to a number of techniques and theories to help improve my performance, but his style of questioning also allowed me to think for myself and answer some difficult questions I had avoided

– How have you benefitted from coaching with Change Formation?

After the six sessions, I felt we had addressed my key areas for improvement, coming up with improvement plans, I was particularly pleased that I was able to identify situations, which previously I had dealt with from a pessimistic perspective, and take a far more positive approach.  I am certainly more confident in my approach to work as a result of coaching, and have a lot to thank Rob and Change Formation for, and I look forward to working with him again in the future.

What’s it like to work with Change Formation?

Rob is challenging to work with, but it was always apparent he had my best interests at heart. He was keen to see progress against mutually agreed milestones and encouraged me to leave comfort zones and re-frame issues.

How would you describe the coaching style?

His style is that of a professional friend. Entirely trustworthy and hardworking, but he resisted easy options in favour of strategies that stretched me.

How have you benefitted from coaching with Change Formation?

The key reason I engaged Rob was to become a fully-fledged Director, rather than the somewhat twilight zone existence of Assistant Director. The coaching helped me with issues that I was experiencing, gave me confidence to have a greater presence in the organisation and I was promoted six months after our last session.
